Job summary

Kindred Hospital Greensboro is a 101-bed long-term acute care hospital providing individualized care plans for chronically and critically ill patients. We offer a 6-bed ICU and seven negative pressure rooms, with convenient access via I-85.

The CNA will support nursing staff in daily patient care and activities of daily living to ensure a safe, comfortable environment. The role emphasizes timely vital signs, patient assistance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to uphold care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record vital signs accurately and document timely.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to patient call lights and paging systems promptly.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and movement as directed by RN/LVN/LPN.
• Provide meal assistance and support patient feeding as needed.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and support plans of care.
