Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in the assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care, offering emotional support.
• Take and record vital signs and document data in the health record.
• Prepare rooms and equipment; assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Respond to call lights and assist with meals and feeding.
• Assist with restraints under RN direction and position patients safely.
• Support RN/LVN/LPN with more complex patient treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and document restorative services.
• Document care activities in the electronic health record.
