Job summary

Kindred Hospital Greensboro is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans, assess and communicate changes in patient status, and coordinate with physicians, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient teaching, and assisting with discharge planning. A nursing diploma/certificate and RN licensure are required, with BLS and an associate/bachelor in nursing

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate/diploma in nursing or equivalent is required.
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate direct and indirect patient care through nursing process.
• Develop and communicate nursing care plans with patient, family and staff.
• Assess patient condition and report changes to physicians and team.
• Administer medications safely following five rights and hospital policy.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
