Priority Management seeks a Certified Nurse Aide for a full-time role at Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine, TX. Shifts are 6a-6p or 6p-6a, with every other weekend off.

Join a team dedicated to compassionate resident care and recovery, delivering safe, respectful support in daily activities. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, following the charge nurse schedule, ensuring safety, and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Nurse Aide certification in good standing with Texas Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Ability to understand, remember and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as directed by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents as needed.
• Maintain resident cleanliness and hygiene and provide incontinent care.
• Create a safe, supportive environment for residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To assure resident safety.
• Bath, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned

CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE: QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
