Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our facility in Omaha. You will provide high-quality resident care, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.

The role requires Nebraska CNA certification and prior SNF experience is preferred. You will document care, monitor vital signs, and work closely with nurses to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Nebraska CN A certified caregiver.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform related physical tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with mobility including transferring and ambulating residents.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor health status.
• Document all care provided in electronic health records.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.

Position Type: Full-Time or PRN

Shifts Open

• 6am-2pm Monday-Friday
• 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday
• 6am-10pm Doubles every Saturday and Sunday (Baylor incentive)
• 10pm-6am, Four Nights on and Two Night off rotation
• PRN as needed also available.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
