Job summary

Emerald Nursing Limited in Lincoln, NE is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing facility team. You will provide high-quality resident care, including daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility assistance, while ensuring comfort and safety.

This role operates in a clinical healthcare environment with Mon-Fri 0630-1430 shifts and rotating weekends. Collaboration with nurses and physicians is essential to deliver cohesive care and support residents’

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift/move residents.
• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Help with mobility including transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Document care and changes in residents’ conditions in EHR.
• Report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meals, and provide companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain safety.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians for comprehensive care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Nebraskarequired.
