Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to lead our Building & Construction team from the Jefferson, Louisiana office. This role oversees field and laboratory operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and profitable project execution with strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of project management experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) or related field.
• Significant experience supervising and scheduling field technicians (10+).
• Strong knowledge of CMT procedures, field operations, and project budgeting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Excellent communication, client relationship management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large CMT projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
• Review scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate technical and administrative teams to achieve project objectives.
• Review contracts and project documentation; assist with invoicing and billing.
• Provide technical oversight to technicians and field staff.
