Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspection (SI) in the Memphis, Tennessee area. The role involves field engineering, data reduction, testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and report preparation, with responsibilities for budgeting, billing, and client consultation.

You will assist with project management and proposals, oversee field staff, and ensure inspections are scheduled and performed per ASTM/ACI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Two or more years' experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Valid Driver’s License with a reliable driving record.
• willingness to work off shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for various projects.
• Assisting with project management and reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Prepare and review reports; communicate with clients.
• Assist with proposals, billing and project billing within budget.
• Coordinate with field staff and other PSI team members.
