Job summary

Intertek-PSI seeks a Project Manager for Construction Material Testing in Austin, TX. Lead large CMT projects, coordinate 10+ field technicians, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain client relationships.

You'll ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with branch and operations teams. The role requires significant CMT experience, strong leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing large Construction Materials Testing projects.
• Strong field experience with concrete, reinforcing steel, soils and drilled piers.
• Proven experience managing and scheduling 10+ field technicians.
• Strong knowledge of CMT procedures, construction practices and project specs.
• Experience with budgeting, invoicing and financial management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience considered.
• ACI, NICET, ICC or other CMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex CMT projects from start-up through completion.
• Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and utilization of field technicians.
• Provide leadership and support to project personnel and clients.
• Develop schedules, staffing plans and resource requirements.
• Monitor progress, quality, budgets, and contract compliance.
• Review testing reports and deliverables for accuracy.
