Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager for our Shrevport, LA field services team. You will manage diverse projects, coordinate with senior engineers and field staff, and ensure timely delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will oversee budgets, invoices, proposals, and change orders, while mentoring junior staff and developing client relationships. Local travel and field leadership are anticipated in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 full years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• PE or PG license in the state of work.
• Strong marketing skills for client relationships.
• Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
• Solid knowledge of heavy construction safety and ASTM/CMT standards.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of CMT projects and align with project teams.
• Review daily reports, resolve technical and administrative issues, train field staff.
• Administer project budgets, prepare invoices and pay applications, assist collections.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; host or attend client meetings and follow up reports.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
