ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager for our Raleigh field services team. You will manage diverse projects, collaborate with senior engineers and field staff to meet deadlines, and contribute to client relations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Eng, Construction Eng & Mgmt, Materials Science Eng, Architectural Eng or Geology.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• PE or PG license in the state of work.
• Strong marketing skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Sound understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM lab standards.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support management of construction materials testing projects, daily report review, and issue resolution.
• Manage project budgets, invoices, pay apps, and collections.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; host/attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
