Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager for the College Park field services team. You will manage diverse projects, coordinate with senior engineers and field staff, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining safety standards.

We value strong client relationships, clear communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff. This on-site role requires a BS in a related field and a PE/PG license where applicable.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• PE or PG license in the state of work.
• Strong marketing/client relationships skills.
• Excellent communication (speaking, reading, writing).
• Sound understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Sound knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage CMT projects, review daily reports, resolve technical/administrative issues, and mentor field staff.
• Oversee budgets, prepare invoices/pay apps, and assist with collections.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; host or attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
