Job summary

Beauvais Rehab & Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our skilled nursing team. You will work under RN/LPN supervision to administer non-parenteral medications and support resident care in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities include following facility policies, maintaining infection control, documenting medication administration, observing for adverse reactions, and reporting any concerns to the nurse in charge.

Qualifications

• Administer non-parenteral medications under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain infection control during daily tasks and resident care.
• Document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report to supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and directives while performing duties.
• Prepare, administer, and chart medications per guidelines.
• Observe and report adverse reactions to medications to staff nurse.
• Assist CNAs with direct resident care and safety measures.
• Attend departmental meetings and perform duties as assigned.
