Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in Missouri.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer nonparenteral medications safely and accurately under supervision of licensed staff.
• Follow federal, state, and facility regulations and infection control procedures.
• Ensure proper medication storage, documentation, and disposal per protocol.
• Provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs, and support dietary needs.
• Assist in taking and reporting vital signs and notify nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Respond to call lights within 2 minutes with prompt, courteous assistance.
• Maintain safe usage of safety equipment, transfer devices, and gait belts.

CMT – Certified Medication Technician Responsibilities:

• Administer nonparenteral medications safely and accurately under the supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN/LPN).

• Follow federal, state, and facility regulations and infection control procedures.

• Ensure proper medication storage, documentation, and disposal per facility protocol.

• Provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and support dietary needs, including feeding and offering substitutes.

• Assist in taking and reporting vital signs and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities.

• Respond to call lights within 2 minutes and provide prompt, courteous assistance.

• Maintain safe usage of safety equipment, transfer devices, and gait belts.

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Qualifications:

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in the state of Missouri

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or assisted living preferred

• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently with residents and staff
