Job summary

New-Mark-Rehab-and-Healthcare-Center in Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our full-time day shift team. You will provide personalized care, assist residents with daily living activities, and help ensure accurate medication administration under RN/LPN supervision.

The role emphasizes a safe, respectful environment, social engagement, and collaboration with CNAs to maintain high standards of resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have MO CMT certification and be capable of administering medications under supervision.
• Proven ability to assist residents with daily living activities with compassion and care.
• Experience in maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support residents in activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Encourage residents to socialize and engage with one another to support emotional well-being
• Create and maintain a safe environment where residents can thrive
• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of an RN or LPN
• Maintain medical records and documentation ensuring accuracy, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Transport residents to and from dining areas; assist with feeding as needed
• Make frequent rounds to check on residents’ needs and provide supervision of CNAs, ensuring proper resident care
• Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when needed and follow up on corrections as necessary

Shift Type: 12-hour: M-F Day and Evening: Every Weekend

CMT Job Requirements:
