What You Will Do

The Construction Project Manager in our Building Solutions North America division will lead large, complex, multi-million dollar construction projects across the U.S. This is a remote position based in the U.S., with travel requirements up to 50% or more.

Under general direction, you will be responsible for the profitable execution of assigned projects, working with sales managers and teams to support early-stage sales activities, strategy, vendor selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, and risk assessment. You will ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, within budget, and in compliance with legal and safety standards, maintaining positive cash flow and pursuing change orders.

How You Will Do It
  • Act as the primary on-site leader for execution teams, developing and implementing project schedules.
  • Evaluate scope changes, pursue additional work, and negotiate final settlements.
  • Manage costs, billings, collections, and maintain profitability and cash flow.
  • Review and interpret contract terms and conditions.
  • Analyze financial and project schedule data to address potential issues proactively.
  • Manage risks and develop project recovery plans as needed.
  • Negotiate and issue subcontracts, oversee project construction, and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
  • Coordinate procurement, develop relationships with clients and subcontractors, and ensure project standards are met.
  • Support project development, customer training, and collaborate with various teams to meet project objectives.
What We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of eight years of project management experience in construction.
  • Management experience with mechanical retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS, fire, and security systems is preferred.
  • PMI/PMP certification expected within two years.
  • Strong communication skills, technical knowledge, proficiency in project management and financial systems, and MS Office suite expertise.
  • Willingness to travel and handle complex projects involving multiple subcontractors and scopes.
