Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Business Development Director to lead and execute growth for the CMS business area. You will drive opportunities, build trusted relationships, and shape winning proposals while leveraging GDIT’s breadth of resources.

You should have a proven record of closing large, strategic opportunities and deep CMS familiarity, with a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Federal Sales/BD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
10+ years of hands-on Federal Sales/Business Development experience.
Experience with IT services, lifecycle software development, data analytics and mission support offerings.
Proven success developing and winning CMS opportunities.
Location flexibility in Falls Church, VA or Windsor Mill, MD; must be a U.S. person.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify new CMS opportunities and shape pursuit strategies.
Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with customers and partners, including vendors.
Lead integrated BD, capture and proposal strategies with clear value propositions.
Establish value-added teaming and competitive pricing to win awards.
Collaborate with account BD and P&L leaders to align with the strategic plan.
