Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing; CMP experience preferred.
• Experience monitoring inline data and addressing yield/quality issues.
• Strong teamwork and communication with Operations and Process Technician teams.
• DOE, characterization, optimization skills; SPC data analysis.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity.
• Judgment and ownership for cross-organizational issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Sustain daily CMP operations; monitor SPC charts and respond to events.
• Investigate defects and scrap using root-cause analysis in a PDCA framework.
• Develop and optimize CMP processes for NPI and improved yield.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across levels to implement changes.
• Qualify new tools/recipes; assess impact on cost and throughput.
• Document procedures for Operators and tool users.
