Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Process Engineer for the CMP business, based in Newark, DE. The role focuses on maintaining and improving process health, providing engineering support to manufacturing, and leading root cause analyses to restore capability.

Responsibilities include SPC/FMEA-driven stability, defect reduction, and collaboration across teams to ensure product quality and process safety. A hands-on leader with strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with operations, maintenance and other groups.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab and SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily use of Process Control System (SPC/FMEA) to drive stability and capability within the module.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for escalated production deviations.
• Apply PSM and machine safety standards in process operations.
• Drive yield improvements and collaborate with sister sites via MOC and quality activities.
• Lead process control reviews and act as primary lead for off-spec material disposition.
• Coach Operations team on process variability and capability improvements.
