Job summary

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CMP Process Development Engineer to support development and manufacturing of advanced semiconductor devices with a hands-on approach and clear communication within cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on DOE/SPC analyses, process optimization across CMP disciplines (Cu, Ta, W, dielectric, and post-CMP cleaning), and collaboration with design and integration teams to improve yields.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Science with emphasis in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience in a development environment is welcomed.
• Processing experience in Chemical and Mechanical Polish (CMP) and post-polish wafer cleaning; Cu plating a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to execute experiments and optimize CMP processes.
• Sustain and improve wafer fabrication processes and ensure device yields meet specs.
• Develop operating specifications and monitor process health using SPC/DOE.
