Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent relevant experience.
• Three years of experience as an Equipment Engineer or Sr. Equipment Maintenance Technician in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• One year of hands-on experience with CMP tools and equipment.
• Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Researches, evaluates, and recommends tool selections to improve yield and lower cost.
• Analyzes tool data, compiles reports, and recommends corrective action.
• Manages projects with varying scope, schedule, and budget to meet timelines.
• Coordinates and prioritizes tool maintenance to maximize tool uptime.
• Maintains tools per established schedules and specifications.
• Draws diagrams or schematics using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Responds to inquiries about equipment or tool issues from other departments.
• Ensures quality, productivity, yield, and cost objectives are met.
• Collaborates with cross-functional groups to resolve maintenance issues and improve reliability.
• Implements countermeasures to prevent recurring tool failures.
• Maintains spare parts inventory and emergency recovery plans.
