Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Maintenance Parts & Materials Coordinator in Alsip, IL to organize parts rooms, manage inventory, and own the CMMS data. The role supports multiple brands and provides exposure to purchasing, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning.

The candidate will ensure accurate records, timely procurement, and effective communication withMaintenance, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience supporting maintenance operations and CMMS coordination.
• Experience reading equipment descriptions, part numbers, manuals, quotations.
• 2+ years with CMMS, inventory or purchasing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Ability to lift and handle maintenance parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate asset, equipment, preventive maintenance, work‑order, labor, parts, and service records within the CMMS.
• Review maintenance requests for completeness and route to supervisor or technician.
• Create and update work orders based on findings and maintenance activities.
• Assist with CMMS reports covering PM compliance, work‑order backlog, equipment history, parts usage, and costs.
• Coordinate parts reservations and staging for planned PMs, repairs, and vendor activities.
