Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in a fast-moving CNC machining environment. The role focuses on reliability, uptime, safety, and continuous improvement within a large machine shop supporting multiple brands.

The successful candidate will develop technicians, manage PM programs, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and EHS to keep production moving and equipment reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a CNC machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
• Ability to drive TPM and PM optimization and uptime improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and prioritize daily PM and repairs.
• Lead root-cause analysis and maintenance troubleshooting for CNC equipment.
• Ensure PM schedules are followed and documentation is up-to-date.
• Coordinate spare parts and work orders to minimize downtime.
• Coach and develop the maintenance team and ensure safety compliance.
