Job summary

Saint-Gobain Wayne, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Inventory & Environmental Coordinator to manage CMMS data, stock critical parts, and schedule services. The role supports maintenance operations, performs basic repairs, and assists with environmental compliance and safety programs.

The position requires the ability to work Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, and to collaborate with maintenance mechanics and engineers to ensure optimal production capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic command of the English language, written and verbal.
• Able to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, labels and SDSs as appropriate.
• Able to operate departmental equipment necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Knowledgeable in personal computer use.
• Capability to learn and work with CMMS software.
• Familiarity with Saint-Gobain processes and equipment.
• Math skills as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness around maintenance shop and maintenance cages, including equipment work area per 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates CMMS software database for information accuracy and availability.
• Maintains and updates Preventative Maintenance procedures based on OEM manuals and equipment experience.
• Manages inventory of critical spare parts, including minimum levels and physical organization.
• Handles universal waste streams properly.
• Maintains assigned areas for cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness.
• Communicates with staff to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Cleans and maintains tools and work area as needed.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Mechanics and Engineers for parts purchasing and maintenance.
• Performs duties assigned by supervisor and participates in training.
