Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a CMM Operator to join our 3rd Shift Quality Team. You will set up and operate CMMs to inspect precision aerospace components and ensure conformance to drawings.

This role offers hands-on metrology experience, exposure to advanced inspection equipment, and a focus on quality, productivity, and 6S in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
• CMM experience is a plus, but candidates with inspection experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect ceramic core components.
• Use transducer gages, handheld measuring devices, and other inspection equipment.
• Review and interpret product X-rays.
• Ensure parts meet quality and customer specifications.
• Support productivity, yield, safety, and 6S standards.
• Work closely with a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement.
