Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Wickliffe, Ohio, is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Operator to join the 3rd shift Quality Team.

You will set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to inspect ceramic core components and review X-rays, ensuring parts meet customer specifications. Ideal candidates will have experience in quality inspection, basic math, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect ceramic core components.
• Use transducer gages, handheld measuring devices, and other inspection equipment.
• Review and interpret product X-rays.
• Ensure parts meet quality and customer specifications.
• Support productivity, yield, safety, and 6S standards.
• Work closely with a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement.
