Job summary

Applied Composites is hiring a CMM Programmer for the 2nd shift as a Machinist 5. The role inspects using CMS/CMM systems, applies measurements, and maintains calibration standards. It requires a BSCS/BSQA or a high school diploma with relevant experience, plus several years in inspection within regulated environments.

The position emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and continuous improvement in quality and efficiency, supporting aerospace/defense applications from Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Requires BSCS or BSQA degree or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience
• Three years’ experience performing inspection in a regulated environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of tool calibration and tracking of tools
• CMM experience, operating and programming
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Vision 20/20 or better with/without corrective lenses

Responsibilities

• Act appropriately in ethical situations to ensure system integrity and regulatory compliance
• Maintain professional bearing at all times
• Stay current with CMS and metrology, QA, and engineering developments
• Maintain documentation and records for quality system audits
• Know the Customer Digital Product Definition (DPD) process and requirements
• Know AS9100 Quality Management System
• Other responsibilities as assigned
