Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a CMM Operator to run CMM inspection on routed patterns and perform core scan inspections.

This role requires maintaining logs and notifying supervision of issues, with training on first shift during weekdays and a weekend shift 3:00am–3:00pm. You will follow work instructions for CMM and core scan programs, perform minor de-flashing, ensure data traceability, monitor results, and meet production rates.

Formación

• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to carefully work with delicate equipment.
• Must possess or be trained in basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to carry and move various tools up to 35 pounds.
• An understanding of the English language is necessary.
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervision and engineering as necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Follows the customer work instructions to properly run CMM programs on incoming patterns
• Follows the customer work instructions to properly run core scan programs
• Fully understand and carry out all procedures in the case of inspection failure as listed in department work instruction
• Will perform minor de-flashing as necessary to ensure patterns can properly run
• Label all non-serialized inspected patterns to ensure data traceability
• Will accurately monitor inspection results to maintain product flow and identify issues
• Perform additional higher-level tasks as necessary (running alignments, calibrations, etc.)
• Will meet the designated rates for production and accurately fill production time sheets
• Follow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the area
