Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a CNC Milling Operator for the 2nd shift in Wickliffe, Ohio. Build precision ceramic cores and components for aerospace applications on state-of-the-art CNC equipment.

You will set up programs, load tooling, and verify dimensions using micrometers and calipers, ensuring quality and yield goals while maintaining a safe workspace in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling equipment.
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers.
• Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to pre-finish fired ceramic cores.
• Load programs, install tooling, and mount fixtures for production runs.
• Load and unload parts while monitoring dimensional and visual quality.
• Make minor machine adjustments and program offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform tie-bar cutting operations and review X-rays as required.
• Meet quality, productivity, and yield goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and support 6S initiatives.
