Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to support the Quality Management System. The role involves performing measurement activities with CMM and handheld tools, understanding the Quality Policy, and ensuring parts meet print specifications for PPAP submissions.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) with 1–2 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow complex procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Understands and can explain the Quality Policy.
• Identifies and logs non-conformances and supports corrective actions.
• Maintains CMM lab housekeeping and reports equipment issues.
• Performs part layout and fixture certification per customer programs (GP-7, GP-3, GP-8).
• Supports PPAP submissions and data recording for quality metrics.
