Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Northlake, TX, seeks a Quality/Metrology professional for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri). You will plan layouts, program CMMs, and conduct process capability studies to ensure products meet customer requirements.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 1–2 years' experience. You’ll work with PPAP, calibration, and quality documentation while upholding safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering from a 4-year college.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Strong standards of performance, responsibility and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct layout information for products using required reporting formats.
• Operate and maintain CMM lab equipment and perform calibrations.
• Program and operate CMM machines and conduct process capability studies.
• Identify non-conformances and log them for corrective actions.
• Support PPAP submissions and customer self-certification programs.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with quality policies.
