Job summary

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism.

You will communicate with CHOC physicians, medical staff, internal departments, vendors and partners, and you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and event platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare or academic environment planning continuing medical education (CME) or other healthcare professional events is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with CRM or LMS platforms.
• Certification in meeting planning (CMP) or project management professional (PMP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of educational events from planning through successful execution.
• Communicate clearly with CHOC physicians, medical staff, internal departments, vendors and external partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with event technology platforms and mobile applications.
• Plan ahead, ask questions, anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities.
