The successful candidate will communicate clearly with CHOC and non-CHOC physicians, medical staff and associates, internal departments, vendors, and external partners. They are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with event technology platforms and mobile applications. We are looking for someone who plans multiple steps ahead, asks questions before they become problems, anticipates needs, and takes initiative. The team works on short-term and long-term events The role requires working on occasional evenings and weekends (average 10-12 dates a year).**Pay Range**Minimum $30.94 Midpoint $40.99 Maximum $51.05*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience****•** Required: Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience.**•** Preferred: Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare or academic environment planning continuing medical education (CME) or other healthcare professional events.**Education****•** Required: Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree**Training****•** Required: Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)**•** Preferred: Certification in meeting planning (CMP) or project management professional (PMP)**Specialized Skills****•** Required: Able to keyboard 40 wpm.
