Job summary

Amentum seeks a Configuration Management/Data Management (CMDM) Manager to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role leads CMDM, data management, product support, and technical data management on the Western Range, delivering high-quality baselines and engineering work products.

You will supervise staff, coordinate reviews, and interface with government personnel. A DoD background and prior SFRC experience are highly valued, with a starting salary in the $130k–$140k range and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight+ years of engineering or relevant experience including configuration and data management.
• Three+ years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Experience supporting the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages Configuration Management, Data Management, Product Support and Technical Data Management functions on the Western Range.
• Provides CMDM technical judgment and leadership across supported processes.
• Directs staff with adherence to department and company policies for professional excellence.
• Interfaces with customers, coordinates reviews, and releases engineering work products.
• Prepares proposals, basis of estimate, and personnel resource management.
