Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management/Data Management (CMDM) Manager to lead CMDM, Data Management, and Technical Data Management on the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and experience in DoD environments.

You will interface with customers, establish baselines, and manage proposals and resources while guiding cross-functional teams toward compliant, on-time deliverables. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field, or equivalent Combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of Engineering or relevant experience including Configuration and Data Management.
• At least 3 years in supervisory/management capacity.
• Experience supporting the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMDM, Data Management, Product Support, and Technical Data Management functions on the Western Range.
• Provide technical judgment and leadership across CMDM disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to department/company policies and professional standards.
• Interface with customers, coordinate reviews, establish baselines, review and release engineering work.
• Prepare proposals, basis of estimate generation, and resource management.
• Develop and communicate short- and long-term service strategies within schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with ER CMDM Manager for consistent approach across SFRC.
