Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Senior for the Space Force Range Contract to lead CMDM activities across hardware and software baselines. You will guide IPTs from project start to completion and ensure disciplined change control throughout the life cycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing change requests, analyzing design changes, mentoring analysts, and delivering program documentation with status accounting updates to support sustainment engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in Sustaining or Development Engineering.
• Experience with engineering docs, product structures, and change request/order mgmt.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with PLM tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CMDM support to IPT from project start to finish.
• Enforce change management and change control through the life cycle.
• Review change requests for completeness and guidelines.
• Analyze design changes and assess impact on baselines.
• Lead analysts in configuration and data management tasks.
• Prepare rough order of magnitude or basis of estimates for CMDM deliverables.
• Train and mentor analysts in engineering project development and tools.
• Support program documentation, data deliverables, and status accounting updates.
• Perform duties related to configuration control for sustainment engineering.
