Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Product Owner for the CMDB to define and execute the CMDB roadmap and governance. The role partners with IT Operations, Engineering, Security, Asset Management, and Service Management to ensure accurate configuration data supporting critical business processes.

The ideal candidate combines CMDB expertise with product ownership experience and a passion for data quality, process improvement, and platform capability enhancements.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Configuration Management, Discovery, Service Mapping.
• Experience building CMDB programs within complex organizations.
• Knowledge of ITIL Configuration, Change, Incident, Problem, and IT Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Own the ServiceNow CMDB product roadmap, strategy, governance framework, and operational processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and maximize CMDB value.
• Drive data quality, governance, and adoption across the CMDB ecosystem.
• Develop governance for CI lifecycle, relationships, service mapping, and data stewardship.
• Onboard applications, infrastructure, cloud resources, business services, and tech assets into the CMDB.
