Job summary

Nordic is seeking a Service Management CMDB Advisor with strong ITIL and CMDB/ITOM expertise to implement and maintain CMDB policies, processes, and data accuracy. The role emphasizes ITOM discovery, service mapping, and governance across a multi-source CMDB environment.

You will partner with ITOM, APM and SAM/HAM teams to ensure reliable configuration items, lifecycle traceability and actionable reporting, while aligning with CSDM 4.0 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or 8+ years with no degree.
• 5+ years’ experience in ServiceNow platform administration or architecture, CMDB/ITOM focus.
• ITIL v4 certification required.
• Knowledge of IT principles, Discovery patterns, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience with data accuracy across multi-source CMDB environments.
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end deployment of ITOM Visibility with robust Discovery and automated Service Mapping.
• Define data source precedence and maintain high-integrity data in multi-source CMDB.
• Champion adoption of CSDM 4.0 standards and map assets to business services.
• Collaborate with Incident/Change/Major Incident teams for real-time impact analysis.
• Ensure CI accuracy and perform configuration audits aligning physical inventory with CMDB.
• Provide ad-hoc reports for Configuration Items and govern inventory processes.
