Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support AHMG Pediatric Dermatology in Orlando. The role processes patient visits, directs care under a licensed provider, and maintains precise records.

Expect daily clinic duties, collaboration with nurses and PAs, and patient education. The position requires CMA certification, BLS, excellent documentation, and a high school diploma with at least one year of CMA office experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nurses and physician assistants to perform procedures and treatments.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient interactions and procedures.
• Obtains vitals and reason for visit.
• Provides patient care under provider guidance.
• Records diagnoses, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions.
• Prepares referral letters as directed by physicians.
• Ensures accurate recording of clinical data and lab results.
• Supports quality reporting and follow-up tracking.
• Provides patient education on risks and benefits.
