Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Dermatology department in Tampa, FL. You will perform patient care under physician/APP supervision in an ambulatory setting, including scribing and assisting during examinations. Dermatology experience is preferred and MA certification is required.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. The role emphasizes documentation, patient preparation, and communication with patients and staff within Orlando Health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or verifiable relevant patient-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of physician/APP in ambulatory care.
• Assist with examinations and procedures.
• Gather patient data through interviews and observation.
• Document treatments and patient education per policy.
• Schedule and facilitate specialty testing and referrals as needed.
