Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers in Concord, NC invites a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant I to join the Clinical team. Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) and the assigned provider, the CMA/RMA helps facilitate patient care from check-in through visit completion, including clinical and administrative duties and accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Medical Assistant Certification within ninety days of hire; CPR and BLS required.
• English communication accuracy and patient-centered approach.
• New graduates or less than one year of experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill patient care responsibilities to all patient populations, including pediatrics as assigned and manage patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient’s EHR under supervision.
• Assist with telephone follow-up and patient education as directed by the provider.
• Assist with various clinical procedures and document results accurately.
• Perform clinic maintenance tasks: prep instruments, run tests, clean rooms, document tasks.
