Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking Certified Medical Assistants to start in the Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP). You will rotate through Treasure Valley clinics to find a permanent placement based on location, specialty, and shift.

The role includes a comprehensive onboarding and opportunities in Primary Care and Specialty Clinics with full-time day shifts, designed to support your career path and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS-CPR certification accepted from major organizations.
• National CMA certification from NCCT/NAHP/AMT/AAMA/AMCA/NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinic rotations to explore different positions and placements.
• Complete standardized onboarding to prepare for a dynamic ambulatory environment.
• Support Primary Care and Specialty Clinic operations in a full-time day-shift role.

The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for CMAs to start in our hiring pool, receive standardized training to St. Luke's and the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a permanent position in a Treasure Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Treasure Valley work location will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift.

• Gain experience and expertise through our comprehensive standardized medical assistant onboarding, preparing you to excel in the dynamic environment of our clinics

CMA Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
