Union Hospital in Indiana is hiring for Nursing Support on a full-time day shift (M-Th 8-5, Fri 8-12). The role supports physicians and care teams as a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited CMA or LPN program, hold the appropriate certification, and comply with BLS requirements. Union Health emphasizes work-life balance and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited CMA program with CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
• Active CMA, RMA or CCMA certification and BLS required.
• LPN candidates must have completed a one-year Practical Nursing program and be licensed in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams using standard assessment skills.
• Collaborates on care plans and assists physicians with procedures.
• Provides patient education to promote self-care and independence.
• Demonstrates job knowledge and follows policies and protocols.
• Respects patients' rights, including informed consent, privacy and confidentiality.

Certified Medical Assistant Details

Qualifications for CMA Applicants:

• Graduate from an accredited program for CertifiedMedical Assistants, Registered. Medical Assistants or Certified Clinical Medical Assistants program.
• Must have active CMA, RMA or CCMA certificate.
• BLS certification.
• PreviousCMA experience preferred.

Qualifications for LPN Applicants:

• Graduate from a one-year Practical Nursing Program.
• Currently registered with the Indiana State Board of Nurses Registration and Nursing Education as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Previous LPN experience preferred.
