Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a compassionate CMA/LPN/RN to join the Nephrology team in our Dubuque clinic. The role supports exams, treatments, and patient education, with flexible hours and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Open to CMA, LPN, or RN with active licensure; familiarity with EPIC EHR is a plus. Expect to work in a patient-focused outpatient setting with opportunities for growth within UnityPoint Health.

Qualifications

• Active licensure/certification as RN, LPN or CMA as applicable.
• Experience in outpatient/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures.

We are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our team. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) , Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN) . This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education.

• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care
• Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Active/Unencumbered RN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate, diploma, or Associate's Degree) required.

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required:

• National Healthcare Association
• American Association of Medical Assistants
• National Center for Competency Testing
• National Certified Medical Assistant
• National Association of Health Professionals
• American Registry of Medical Assistants
• American Allied Health
• American Medical Technologists

Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred

Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
