Job summary

UnityPoint Clinic in Dubuque, IA is seeking a compassionate CMA, LPN, or RN to join our Internal Medicine team. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

You will assist physicians during exams and procedures, room patients, record histories and vitals, administer medications or vaccines as licensed, educate patients, coordinate referrals, and maintain an organized, safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license or Medical Assistant credential as listed.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certificate, diploma, or associate degree).
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the listed certifying bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures.
• Room patients, record histories and vitals, and document in the EHR.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per licensure.
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

We are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our team. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) , Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN) . This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education.

• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care
• Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Active/Unencumbered RN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
• OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
• OR Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate, diploma, or Associate's Degree) required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required:
• National Healthcare Association
• American Association of Medical Assistants
• National Center for Competency Testing
• National Certified Medical Assistant
• National Association of Health Professionals
• American Registry of Medical Assistants
• American Allied Health
• American Medical Technologists

Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
