Job summary

The Jamestown Healing Clinic in Sequim, WA, is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support an integrated care team across primary care, dental, behavioral health, and addiction treatment. You will assist providers, document vitals and patient history, and manage records and urine screenings under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing orders, handling billing entries, and coordinating follow-ups while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Basic First Aid/CPR from American Heart Association.
• Current Washington State HCA certification (levels A, C, and E).
• Phlebotomy experience and knowledge of confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide all services as described in the AAMA Occupational Analysis.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, document history and chief complaint as directed.
• Maintain medical records with urine screenings and test submissions.
• Process orders, prescriptions, pre-certifications or authorizations.
• Record patient charges for electronic billing.
• Assist with follow-up care and review lab/radiology results.
• Prepare laboratory and radiology procedures and schedule tests.
