Job summary

Qualifications

• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of degree/certification from a Medical/Nursing Assistant program, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with guidelines.
• Duty assignments include front office and back office functions.
