Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care under physician or RN supervision and to handle a range of front and back office tasks.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program (or two years of related clinical experience). CMA-AAMA certification and BCLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of physician, physician extender, or RN.
• Perform front office and back office duties as assigned.
