Qualified candidates should have a GED and completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or two years of related clinical experience. CMA-AAMA or equivalent certification and BCLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of physician, physician extender, or RN in accordance with guidelines.
• Perform front office and back office duties as assigned.
