Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program.
• Experience in medical office settings with knowledge of terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding.
• Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems; EClinicalWorks experience a plus.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
• Excellent patient service skills and compassionate care delivery.
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, including collecting histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and ensure comfort.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR/EMR systems.
• Assist with laboratory procedures and specimen collection.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and comply with health regulations.
• Support value-based care efforts by addressing quality gaps.
